Howdy!
Hey all. It's Thursday. Yippee! I don't have to drag the kids to the sitter tomorrow. They only had to go once all week. Jude was very excited about getting out of the house today. He couldn't wait to see his friends. He didn't even look back as I walked out. I have a meeting to go to. I didn't realize that it was almost 1:30. Bye.

Finals
Tomorrow is the start of final exams. The Media Center staff is going to be helping with the scanning in the SRFH. Carol trained everyone today. It should be interesting. We are very positive and optimistic. Food will be involved and that's what keeps us happy. I am trying to work on liquid lunch (shakes) for everyone from Oberweiss. Yummy!
Good news from home: Maia slept through the night. It'll probably never happen again because I was so excited about it and have been talking about it all day. It was nice. I hope this is the start of a new pattern!! Cross your fingers for me. Chris is home tomorrow, so even if she does wake up it's his turn to deal with her. YIPPPEE! Jude called 911 again two nights ago. He's something else. He's as obsessed as ever with Toy Story. He wakes up at 6 to watch it. Lord help us!
Wish us luck with TieNet tomorrow!

Short Week (HOORAY!)
Hi fellow bloggers. I am excited about the fact that we have a short week coming up and an Institute Day on Friday. My husband started his new shift today. This is his long week. He will be off on Wednesday and Thursday. This is exciting b/c I don't have to drag the kids out of bed at 6:45 to get to work on time. I also may actually be able to come to work with my hair done instead of a ponytail.
Tomorrow we are celebrating June's 1/2 birthday. Carol said she'd bake a cake. We hope she doesn't forget. The plan is to order food, but we haven't been able to locate June to see what she'd like to eat. We get excited about food around here. That's why I'm as fat as I am (it has nothing to do with the two kids that I popped out over the last 2 years). It's all a conspiracy here to keep me plump.
Off to do some real work. Later...

New Year's Resolution
We are back at work from a very short break. My New Year's resolution is to blog at least once a day. I'll never hear the end of it from June if I don't. She's out sick today and hasn't been able to bug me about it, but I'm sitting here listening to Carol as she blogs religiously and checks everyone else's.
I'm definitely not interesting enough to participate in this. Is it okay to talk about the fact that I considered throwing my daughter out the window when she woke up for the second time in the middle of the night to eat. Shouldn't she be past that whole thing yet? June, please advise. You have a bunch of kids. Will it ever get better? Will I ever sleep again? I'm beginning to think that sleep is way overrated. This helps me make it through the day.
I must go now. I get to go to a fun meeting for the rest of the afternoon. I'll try not to break my resolution (at least for one week).

Is it Thursday yet??
One more day before Christmas vacation starts. WOO HOO! I am very excited about this Christmas because Jude is old enough to understand the concept of presents. He gets so excited about ripping open gifts. It's cute. Next year I'll teach him the meaning of Christmas; for now I'll enjoy watching his face light up.
Tomorrow we will be having lots of food in the Media Center. Yummy! Hopefully Carol will remember to bring something. She forgot to bring cookies on Tuesday and I was so sad! :(
Tomorrow night is also our work Christmas party. It's always a chance to catch up on the good gossip about our co-workers that we've missed out on throughout the year. Good stuff going around already. Rosemary promised that she'd drink enough to tell people what she really thinks of them. I can't wait (although I hope I'm not on her list).
Now that I've finally posted a message again I hope that my friends in the Media Center read it.
Lots of Love!!
